Sean M. Mulchay has been an associate attorney with the firm since December, 2008.  In this capacity, Mr. Mulchay acts as a representative for municipal units of government and taxpayers in property tax appeals, including appearing before the Michigan Tax Tribunal in real property tax cases, preparing motions and briefs on various property tax issues, and reviewing property tax appraisals.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mulchay served as a judicial law clerk at the Michigan Tax Tribunal where he drafted orders in response to motions submitted to the Tribunal, conducted legal research on real and personal property tax matters, drafted and reviewed Tribunal opinions, and assisted with Tribunal hearings.

Mr. Mulchay's law school accomplishments include: Dean's List; Honors Scholarship Recipient; Managing Associate Editor, Thomas M. Cooley Law Review; John D. Voelker Award Recipient for significant contributions to the Law Review; Associate Editor, Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law; and Alumni Board of Editors, Thomas M. Cooley Law Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.
